Georgiana believes that each person has an innate ability to heal from trauma and pain; she offers a safe space to tap into transformative healing, self-exploration, and personal growth. She is experienced in both individual and group therapy and prior to her work at the Viva Center, she served as the Clinical Director of the DC Rape Crisis Center.
Georgiana is trained in psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral theory and integrates elements of somatic techniques in her work–promoting awareness and understanding of the link between the physical and emotional selves.
She offers ‘brainspotting’ –a brain based therapy that works with the deep brain and the body through its direct access to the autonomic and limbic systems within the body’s central nervous system.
Additionally, Georgiana offers Eye Movement Reprocessing Desensitization (EMDR), another brain based therapy, that uses bilateral stimulation of the left and right lobes of the brain to decrease the effect of negative core beliefs and replace them with positive, more effective beliefs.
Georgiana is also a certified reiki practitioner.
Her areas of expertise include:
- Trauma and PTSD
- Addictive Behaviors
- Relationship Challenges

She believes therapy is a collaborative process, driven by the unique needs and views of each client. With both daytime and evening appointments available, she strives to make therapy as convenient as possible and welcomes the opportunity to work with you!
