Julie specializes in working with adults and adolescents who struggle with trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, parenthood, divorce, and other life changes. She believes no single therapy approach is the correct one for everyone, and uses a range of approaches including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused therapies.

Julie’s previous work experience includes providing therapeutic counseling, evidence-based treatment interventions, and case management services to adults and adolescents in the greater Washington, DC area.
Julie is a writer and brings a journalist’s curiosity, empathy, and appreciation for research to the field of clinical social work. She has practiced various forms of yoga for 10 years, including vinyasa and restorative yoga.
Julie received her masters in clinical social work from the Catholic University of America and her undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Southern California.
