Trauma, Chronic Pain and Somatic Therapy Work

November 15 @ 9:00 am 10:00 am

chronic pain

Have you ever noticed how stress and emotional pain can show up in your body?

Maybe it’s that persistent neck tension, unexplained digestive issues, or chronic pain that just won’t quit. If you are seeking tools for living with chronic pain that feel both manageable and unique to you, this workshop will be a safe space. Learn about how your symptoms can be addressed using somatic work.

Since we are 4.5 years into a mass disabling event – the COVID-19 pandemic – the takeaways from this workshop are widely applicable. Chronic pain and chronic illness are on the rise, leading to intense disempowerment.

Are you tired of…

  • Health practitioners who do not understand your lived experience
  • One-size-fits-all approaches that do not honor your body and needs
  • Being gaslit about what it feels like to be you

Are you ready to experience…

  • An affirming practitioner who has presence, experience, and solidarity with the chronic illness and chronic pain community
  • Accessible practices to support you in your everyday
  • Applicable education on the link between trauma and chronic pain

“Faith has helped me get more grounded in my body, to make connections between physical ailments and emotional patterns that I’d never understood, and perhaps most importantly, to understand myself in deeper and core ways.

~ Beth
