In This Together
Hook Hall Helps

In This Together, or Juntos En Esto, is a movement to support small businesses, first responders, the food insecure, and those most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In This Together in DC

At Viva, we know that the wellbeing of us individually is connected to that of our DC community. When CEO and Founder, Dr. Julie Lopez heard about In This Together, she knew it was perfect to bring to her beloved hometown.

Since then, the Viva community has embraced the calling to support local businesses, the marginalized people of our city, and the people on the front lines.

We’re proud to support our community by building up the people and businesses that make DC the diverse, warm place it is.

To make a tax-deductible direct contribution, please click “Donate” below.  Donations will go through the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington, where they are marked for In This Together.  Thank you for your generosity.

How It Works

The premise is simple!

1) You make a direct financial donation or purchase In This Together gear, such as face masks or T-shirts. 100% of the proceeds go straight to the program’s recipients

2) With support from the local food industry hero, Hook Hall Helps, we fund bulk food purchases from local, DC restaurants

3) Those purchases are sent straight to local non-profits and first responders, providing them with sustenance during this stressful time

More Community Resources

We know our DC community is struggling, which is why we’ve embraced the mantra that we’re all “in this together” from many angles.

With that in mind, our therapists have created a variety of free and low-cost tools, which you can find here. These include free online gatherings and experiential videos as well as low-cost therapy and crisis support options.

We will continue to monitor our community’s wellbeing and develop more ways to give back as things progress. We’re here for you.
