Specialties/Populations

Lenna specializes in working with adolescents and adults of all genders who have experienced different forms of trauma, including sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, abuse, and neglect. Lenna also has experience supporting individuals around issues related to identity, sexuality and relationships.

Meet Lenna

Previous Clinical Experience

Lenna was previously the Cross-Cultural Therapist at The Blue Bench in Denver, Colorado, providing individual and group therapy to adult and adolescent survivors of sexual assault.

Other Skills and Experiences

Lenna is a 200-hr Registered Yoga Teacher and has experience teaching trauma-informed yoga to survivors of interpersonal violence. Lenna has previous experience working as a case manager and as an advocate in hospital and hotline settings.

Education

Lenna received a Master’s in Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work, and completed her thesis on the experiences of discrimination among Arab Americans and Muslim Americans in the U.S. post-9/11.
